Sometimes a yard just needs a clean slate. That big curved landscape bed in the front yard had run its course - overgrown plants, patchy mulch, and a layout that was eating up usable lawn space. It was one of those situations where maintaining it every season was more trouble than it was worth.

We pulled everything out. The whole bed - plants, edging, and all. Once that was gone, we prepped the ground and laid fresh sod to replace it. The difference in how open and usable the front yard feels is immediately noticeable. Clean grass from the house to the street, no more tangled beds to manage.

We also planted a young sugar maple out front. It gives the yard some future shade and a natural focal point without crowding the space. Maples are a solid choice for front yards - they grow well, look great year-round, and add real value to the property over time.

This is a good example of how a few targeted changes can do more for curb appeal than years of patching and trimming ever could. Our landscaping work focuses on practical results - yards that look better and are actually easier to maintain going forward.
